Practicing shots
As we had decided that most of our shots would be tracking shots, we felt that it was necessary to practice these shots before we did them for the real music video.
We quite liked how casual this one was as he walked back into the classroom so maybe we will involve one of the band members casually walking past the camera as we feel that the camera catches them just being them and not putting on a facade for the audience, thus reinforcing their organic nature.
Moreover, we thought that the shot where he is walking directly in front of the camera and looking at the camera is quite powerful as he is directly addressing them, building a connection with the audience and his fans. Therefore, we will be using this kind of shot a lot as we feel that it is extremely powerful in increasing the positiveness of the bands star image.
We also liked how he walks down the stairs in this and the camera follows so we will definitely be using some shots where the band members are seen walking down stairs as it shows a journey of how they are getting from one place to another, representing their chase for their dreams and showing their star image in a positive light as they are willing to climb heights to get to where they want to be with their music.

Set design for our music video
As we will not be using any specific set, only the outdoors, we will not be needing a set design. However, we are hoping to set up our band to perform their song at the top of Primrose Hill so we would therefore have the instruments set up on the top of the hill. This would include the drum kit, the microphone and the amplifiers for the guitars.

Lighting for my music video
We will be having natural outside lighting for our music video as we will be filming outside, and therefore, there is no need for bringing other forms of lighting outside. Natural lighting has been successfully used in many other music videos such as indie rock band The Verve's "Bitter Sweet Symphony", Kiesza's "Hideaway" and Supergrass' "Alright".

Props for shoot days
The only props that we will be using for our music video include two guitars with their two cases, a mic stand and mike, amplifiers, a drum kit and sticks and three pieces of lighting equipment, as most of the video will be using natural outside lighting.
We will be using:
Two amplifiers similar to this, however it will not cost any money as we are borrowing it from school
Drum sticks which we will also be borrowing from school.

Alongside a Yamaha drum kit also borrowed from the music department at our school.
Our bass guitarists own guitar case which looks like this
Alongside his own bass guitar, similar looking to this

As well as his very own guitar which looks like this
Therefore, as we will be borrowing all of this equipment, we will not need to spend any money renting or buying any of it, thus helping us to budget for the rest of our cohesive package.
